What Is It?

The myLearners Free Lesson (FLID)

Victoria's myLearners Free Lesson initiative — also known as FLID (Free Learner Initial Driving) — offers eligible young Victorian learner drivers and their supervising driver a free 60-minute coaching session with an accredited driving instructor.

The lesson is designed to give learners the best possible start — and to help supervising drivers (parents or guardians) feel confident supporting their learner through the full 120-hour program.

The program is a partnership between the Department of Transport and Planning and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) — fully funded, with no cost to you whatsoever.
